Performance in the framework of the project «Meeting the Odyssey», an experiment with text, natural materials, salt, milk, clay. The topic of migration is now extremely relevant for the Mediterranean region. There is a passage in the Odyssey where Odysseus speaks to his friends who have descended into the Underworld and become shadows of themselves. Nearly the same thing is happening now with modern migrants: moving from one country to another, they do not just change the place of residence, living conditions and climate, they change everything: environment, biochemistry, home, close friends. They say goodbye to the past, native, familiar, they seem to die and reborn. They are the same shadows of themselves, ghosts to old friends and acquaintances.
